IMAC Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of a significant renovation project at Hatch Student Living in Co. Carlow. This project involved a complete refurbishment of nine standard bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as the renovation of three accessible wet rooms, all aimed at enhancing the living environment for students.
Project Scope
IMAC Group was tasked with transforming the living spaces at Hatch Student Living to meet modern standards of comfort, functionality, and accessibility. Our experienced team undertook a comprehensive renovation, focusing on aesthetic and practical improvements.

Standard Bedrooms and En-suites
Flooring and Interior
The renovation process began with removing the old wooden floors in nine bedrooms. Once the floors were removed, we carried out a complete overhaul of the en-suite bathrooms. The bedrooms were then revitalised with new vinyl flooring, offering a durable and contemporary finish. To further enhance the spaces, we repainted the walls and installed new blinds, combining style with practicality.
En-suite Bathrooms
We installed new shower trays and carefully tiled the spaces to create a sleek, modern appearance. The bathrooms were further upgraded with new toilets, washbasins, and shower doors. Essential accessories such as mirrors, toilet roll holders, and towel rails were also added, and the spaces were finished with a fresh coat of paint, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Furniture Installation
To complete the bedroom renovations, we designed, built, and installed custom furniture, maximising both space and comfort for the students.
Accessible Wet Rooms
Wet Room Renovation
We also carried out a full renovation of three accessible wet rooms, with a focus on improving both functionality and accessibility. We installed new shower trays with precisely formed falls to ensure efficient drainage. The wet rooms were then expertly tiled, and we installed new toilets, washbasins, and glass screens.
Final Touches
As with the standard en-suites, the wet rooms were fitted with mirrors, toilet roll holders, towel rails, and were finished with a fresh coat of paint, meeting the highest standards for student accommodation.

The Hatch Student Living renovation project was completed on time and to the full satisfaction of our client. The upgraded facilities now provide modern, comfortable, and accessible living spaces for students, significantly enhancing their day-to-day living experience.
