Meet Kerry Irwin, one of the directors at IMAC Group! Having grown up with the business, Kerry’s journey has been one of natural progression, hard work, and meaningful milestones. With a love for fitness, a spiritual side, and a hands-on approach to leadership, Kerry exemplifies what it means to lead with passion and purpose. Let’s learn more about Kerry and her role in the company!
Background and Experience
Kerry’s connection to the industry started early—her father founded the business, making her involvement a natural step. While studying Geography at Coleraine University and working part-time in the office, Kerry conducted the company’s Safe-T Cert Audit. This experience led to an intensive 10-week NEBOSH course, which kick-started her career in Health and Safety. Her journey from part-time team member to director is a testament to her dedication and drive.

Getting Personal
Kerry’s favourite pastime outside of work is staying active, whether it’s running or hitting the gym. On a more introspective side, Kerry has been meditating, journaling, and practicing gratitude daily for many years. She loves being with her two kids, staying busy taking them to their sports and GAA matches, and cheering them on together as a family.
When it comes to travel, Dubai holds a special place in her heart after celebrating her 30th birthday there. If she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to heal injuries, because, as she puts it, “they hold me back at the gym!”
A Day in the Life at IMAC Group
As a director, Kerry’s days are filled with liaising with managers, directors, and the managing director. She juggles meetings, decision-making, and problem-solving with ease. One of her favourite parts of the job? Working alongside her father and husband, which she describes as “priceless time together.” She also fondly recalls her involvement in organising student check-ins at University College Dublin, an exciting and rewarding project.
Motivation and wisdom
Kerry stays motivated and productive through her structured approach to life and her love for her work. Her dad is her biggest inspiration, admired for his positivity, optimism and incredible work ethic. One piece of advice that has stuck with her is, “It’s better to ask people to do things for you than to tell them.” Her favourite quote reflects her gratitude-filled mindset: “The secret to having it all is knowing you already do.”
